Good team out for this (our Irish call ups aside, obviously) but would be worried about our lads picking up a knock or two! Looking forward to the match - need to show a better preformance that the last game.

We have to tie John Porch down on a long term contract otherwise we will loose him. Hopefully he is loyal to Andy Friend like bundee was to Pat.
His pace for Wotton try. How often do you see someone run around a winger
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

Can someone ring Willie and tell him to take out the cheque book for John

I honestly thought Connacht were going to get hammered, absolutely delighted to be so wrong.
Just saw the tries, looks like they played well.

Great performance last night. Blade rightly got the plaudits for his performance but I was hugely impressed with the lads playing out of position.
Masterson finished the game scrummaging behind the tight head after an hour and a quarter of beating on lads like they owed him money. I thought he had a stormer.
And Tom Daly was superb at 10. Yeah he buried his shots at goal, but the detail in play was wonderful - the skip pass to Farrell ahead of Wooton's first try, the length of his clearances, the gravity defying hang time on his drop kicks. All you'd want from a quality 10.

Tiernan picked up a knock and might be out for a few weeks.
While obviously the lads that were playing out of position did a great job - you'd be worried that between injuries/Ireland duty we are running light at the moment.
You'd have to think that if some of our lads aren't selected this weekend (they should be, of course, but should != will) you'd love to think that they'll be released back to us.

Agreed, unbelievable pace - that's several tries he has created from nothing.Tall Paul wrote: We have to tie John Porch down on a long term contract otherwise we will loose him. Hopefully he is loyal to Andy Friend like bundee was to Pat.

Agreed we need to get John Porch tied down to a new 3 yr deal. We could certainly do with him in the Irish team given Stockcube's nightmare on Saturday. Let's hope our new Aussie 7's winger Ben O'Donnell is just as sharp.
