Not a question of not being allowed to talk about it here, but it doesn't have any relevance anymore.
He is a former player, the incident happened in France while playing for another team.
For me personally. Let justice be served, then we can debate the rights and wrongs...

Not news but just here for the record. Shane O'Leary in Canada's RWC squad and James Mitchell signed short-term by Northampton.

Aly Muldowney started Bristol's home win over London Irish at the weekend, with Jake Heenan coming off the bench.
Good to the see the two of them making an impact over there.

this topic is about nostalgia, I'll point out "future players in the news", IQ abroad!
For this game (to sign from Pat Lam/L.Irish), we have
1) Sheedy on the bench (to sign if Horwitz leaves)
2) Macken starting (if Aki/Daly leaves)
3) Piers O'conor starting (if Aki/Daly leaves)
4) Gilsenan starting (if Fainga'a/Copeland leaves -Boyle moved to 8 in the last case-)
5) Joyce starting (if Gallagher/N.Murray definitely moved to back-row)

In the 5 other games I've spotted
1) Charlie Mulchrone on the bench for Quins (if Llyod leaves and Marmion/Blade are busy with Ireland as expected)
2) Michael Heaney starting for Worcester (if Llyod leaves and Marmion/Blade are busy with Ireland as expected)
3) Jordan Coghlan starting for Leicester (plays 7 or 8, if Fainga'a/Copeland leaves)
(I didn't forget Whitten/Steenson, but they are too old to come now)

Sheedy and o Connor have both played for England XV only 4 months ago. Not capped but clearly they want to wear the English shirt.
Also Macken if Aki leaves. Laughed at both thinking Macken would be any good and here we go from or own ‘fans’ about ‘aki leaving’.
I was looking at a button to message the mods privately as I enjoy reading and keeping updated about ex players so they could move these last 2 posts somewhere else as it’s very much of topic as to where it was posted

I'm a big fan, and I desperately hope Aki stays FFS, you know it. But no-one can turn a blind eye to the facts. Aki is out of contract and played his RWC. Of course he loves Connacht as I do. But just like Pat Lam, he may have other considerations
To come back on subject J.Connolly scored his 1st try in his 1st away win with Nottingham

Delighted for both Connolly and Heenan. Both were unlucky with injury and enormous competition in back row. Hope they both keep getting game time.

Jake Heenan starting for Bristol against Exeter this Sunday.
No sign of big Aly lately. Not sure if he's injured or dropped.

Interesting interview with Aly Muldowney on the 42.

Sheds new light on his departure which we blamed on the IRFU, looks like the real reason was closer to home.
