The Ireland Under-20 team, sponsored by PwC, has been named for their third match of the RBS U-20 6 Nations Championship. The side will take on their Scottish counterparts at Netherdale on Friday evening (kick-off 7.30pm).
Head coach Mike Ruddock has made three personnel changes and two positional switches to the Ireland side that defeated England in their last outing.
Darragh Leader comes into the side at full-back for his first appearance of the tournament, having recovered from a hand injury he packed up earlier in the year.
Rory Scannell reverts to the inside centre position with Steve Crosbie returning at out-half. He has recovered from the hamstring injury he picked up playing against Wales in the opening Six Nations game.
Josh van der Flier has been promoted from the replacements bench to be named at openside flanker with Ryan Murphy moving to number 8.
Jerry Sexton, Eoghan Masterson and Mark Roche have been named among the replacements.
Speaking ahead of Friday's encounter with the Scots, Ruddock said: "We are pleased to have banked a win against England but that's behind us now as we attempt to defeat a much improved Scotland side under Sean Lineen.
"The Scottish side are very well coached and on their own patch they will be a very difficult hurdle to overcome."

Seven week suspension for dangerous tip-tackle in U20 Six Nations
A week ago the verdict in the Ross Moriarty spear tackle case was heard, resulting in a seven week ban for the England Under 20 player. Some of you had requested to see the incident, which took place against Ireland U20, so here it is.
England's Ross Moriarty was shown a straight red card in the U20 Six Nations match at Dubarry Park a few weeks back. Ireland won the game 16-15 thanks to a late try and conversion.
The visitors coped well despite the loss of Moriarty in the 23rd minute for his tackle on Ireland U20 skipper Luke McGrath. McGrath was dumped head first into the turf, but thankfully continued on.
Last week a Six Nations Disciplinary Committee deemed that the tackle was in the mid-range of severity, arriving at a sanction of eight weeks. They added two as a deterrent, but allowed for three weeks mitagation, arriving in the end at a seven-week suspension.
It is one of the worst looking tip-tackles, or spears, we've seen in recent times, but Moriarty showed remorse after the game, perhaps helping when it came to the disciplinary hearing.
"Really disappointed after tonight. Didn't intend to hurt their player, apologised after the game. Congratulations to Ireland on their wim" he tweeted after the game.

Mike Ruddock said today that Connacht Branch pulled him out of the squad to rest him. He's played a lot of rugby this season.

Only 1 Connacht player this year! That's pretty terrible frankly would have hoped for more. That said it shows you the strength of the Leinster/Ulster clubs at the moment. It has Alex O'Meara named here for Hartpury and the Exiles. He was playing for Connacht at one stage did he not get an academy place or is it still undecided?
Not even one really, both Panter (no H) & O'Meara are Exiles who have were in Pre-Academy last summer.

the schools system in leinster in particular but also in ulster ensures that they have plenty of players at this level. munster have 7 schools consisered A level. its dificult to put a number on connacht but its 6 at a max and some if them flioat between A and B standard which doesnt happen in the other provinces. il punt on garbally, marist and sligo grammer joined by the bish and jes of galway and the rest change regularly.
