No Ireland aren't participating, only eight countries have teams. Competition in Paralympics is a mixed one, presumably to help get rid of Murderball/Wheelchair Dodgems legacy....

Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Great Britain, Japan, Sweden, United States

Number of competitors

96 – Eight mixed teams of men and women compete, with 12 athletes (four players and eight substitutes) on each team. Each country is limited to one team.

For those that care, Murderball is a fantastic documentary about the sport.

has anyone seen this in the paralympics? its mad stuff but why they call it rugby is beyond me.

They should just use its nickname " murder ball" its more suitable!
