For anyone in around The Sportsground tmro Connacht U18's begin their season with a warmup game vs Munster Schools at 2.30pm..

HI Sol
Barna-Knocknacarra is a mini rugby club only i.e runs from under 6's to under 12's. Players then "graduate" to NUIG academy (NUIG Lions) based in dangan pavilion just below hockey pitch for under 13's to U-17's. Registration this saturday (29th) 10.30 to 12.00. twitter.com/NUIGRugby

For the younger kids ( age 6 to 12) registration is on September 19th in McGraths Field Knocknacarra from 10.30 to 12

They appear to train in Knocknacara - not 100% how up to date that page is I linked aswell

Hi all

Just looking for a bit of a steer on something. A young lad I know (14) is looking to get into the game. Never having played myself, I'm a bit of a loss. Obviously the 'big two' clubs would be great, but would be a major trek for him. I've heard great things about Barna Rugby club, which is closer to his side of town, but if anyone has contact details I'd appreciate a PM or an email!
