Would be unreal if we had an average of 6k at the matches next season.
What the good hell is happening our team? We're growing

At the moment I don't think the Clan Terrace is suitable in terms of carrying drink over and back.
The main thing I'd like to see done is setup a few entry and exit points at various parts of the stand, makes it easier for people to go out and get their drinks and bring them back in comfort rather than trying to balance 3/4 pints while carrying them through a couple of hundred people with the match back on.
Also in terms of practicality in terms of before and after the game, huge volumes of people streaming through a couple of exits designed to take 1 at a time isn't practical.
Can't imagine it'd take much to sort this out.
The Heineken thing is because they paid for the bar to be put up so fair play. I will ask about when that exclusivity runs out. If they are expanding it this year it may mean more room for stock. I miss my guinness at the matches.
I agree about the exits. It's tough work sometimes and I would also love to see beer carriers. Fold down ones that people can keep.

The problem with the free pints is that it is really eating into any profits that the bar generates. I don't think that they expected everyone to be so careful with the drink tickets. Even without the free beer I think that the STs are brilliant value again. It's a lot different from being asked to pay over 200 to stand in the rain without a bar or toilets!connachtexile wrote: Really think they need to get the free pints sorted. I missed two, both HC due to work but over all great value considering I paid 100e to watch Ireland play last year!

Really think they need to get the free pints sorted. This is Ireland for F**ks sake if ya give free drink they will come. It's kinda like field of dreams but more sordid. 1000 tickets is a pretty good return so far I still remember the days of playing Border Reivers and having maybe 200 in the sportsground

Regardless of the HC, if fans still enjoy themselves and make it out for Pro12 games with that kind of attendance then we should be very optimistic of equalling, if not bettering, our ST ticket haul for next year.
I fully agree but being at the match the last day, am I the only one who thinks there is no way there was 5200+ there. I know they probably include st holders whether they are there or not. It was still a good crowd but I'd say 3500-4000 tops.
They do, it's standard practice for all teams to do so. But fact is the crowds are much bigger across the board against all the visiting teams.
3-4000 for Aironi is like 13-15k for Ulster, we had 1,015 there last season for the corresponding ficture (and would be actually less if they were including STH's)....

Sell the name of it for match days. It'd better towards creating revenue.

But, yes, there needs to be an identity for the other parts of the ground, not just the terraces, but behind the in-goal areas as well.
The Clan Terrace has been a massive uplift for everyone this year, but the fans all around the ground have all played an equal part. When you hear the players and coaches talking about the Clan Terrace it's a bit disappointing in a small way. It's not the terrace that is making the noise, it's the Clan, and they're everywhere!
