Always a big game of course, has an important bearing on our position this time. Feels good seeing the league table pop up with a Q beside Connacht's name.

A Ulster win that denies Leinster a lbp is the best result for us I believe, but hard to see it happening. Leinster have stuttered but they can still do the physical stuff well and should dominate Ulster's pack/back row. If that happens, hard to see Ulster's backs getting the upper hand despite being the better performing unit this season (compared to Leinster's backs).

I like Ferris as an analyst, not afraid to admit there are flaws with his old team, not like Shaggy. Player mic on both teams, sky are spoiling us.

Personally, always happy to see Leinster lose but I think they'll win by 5-6 points here.

Ulster 10 up. If they win by 8 or more I don't know will I laugh or cry.

Leinster could easily have the beating of Ulster but they've kept Ulster in it through stupid acts. Although Ulster are ahead its not really based on their own creativity.

So Ulster going to beat Leinster by more than 7 which puts last night in a somewhat different slant as a missed opportunity. Would love a home semi-final but looking at Leinster and Glasgow at the moment, Leinster away nearly looks more appealing.

This game showed the difference between teams on paper and on the field! Leinster should be beating Ulster, but they were poor and seemed content to try and win on the basis of having more internationals than playing as a team. Having said that it was fairly even for the first hour and the difference between the teams was mainly two stupid yellows that gave Ulster 17 points and an intercept try. Ulster were committed, knew their gameplan, had a strong 9 who made smart decisions and had a few tricks up their sleeve. It was not a particularly creative performance but it worked and you happily take a win like that in a derby/must win game.

Leinster were solid in the set piece but extremely blunt in attack. Playing as 14 for 20 minutes probably sapped them and their bench damaged rather than helped them. Murphy for Flier was injury induced but killed them at the ruck, Fitz for Teo moved the latter to 13 I believe and took away some of his carrying, madigan and reddan were barely visible. All this just makes our game against Treviso all the worse as we would have been well clear of third or fourth if we had won.
